Eruptive rocks quarry in Cholet area (Maine et Loire - 49)

The quarry lies on a diorite deposit 14 kilometres in the south of Cholet near the RN 149 from Mortagne-sur-Sèvre to Bressuire. Established in 1973, the quarry is first dedicated to supply Cholet and the region but also the urban areas in the east of the Vendée. The supplies are mainly designed for the construction and roads maintenance techniques as well as the production of hydraulic concrete.

The site can store inert backfill soils coming from any kind of works. It is thus considered as one of the plants contributing to materials processing and recycling.

The plant is also equipped with a PRC asphalt workstation

Opening hours

The quarry is open from Monday to Thursday from 7.30 am to 12.00 pm and from 1.30 to 6.00 pm. On Fridays from 7.30 am to 12.00 pm and from 1.30 to 5.00 pm.
